The Rockpile Museum Association (RMA) will hold its next monthly board meeting soon, and we invite community members, supporters, and those curious about getting more involved to join us.
These meetings are an important time for us to check in on current projects, plan for upcoming events, and look ahead at how we continue preserving and sharing the history and culture of northeast Wyoming.
Open Board Positions
As our organization continues to grow, we currently have open board positions to fill. Serving on the RMA Board is a meaningful way to support the Museum’s mission, help guide its future, and contribute skills and perspective to a dedicated group of volunteers.
If you’ve ever been interested in nonprofit leadership, local history, or community involvement, this is a great opportunity to learn more about what board service looks like and how you might fit in.
Looking Ahead: Major Projects in the Works
At this meeting, we’ll be discussing planning and next steps for several exciting initiatives:
- WWII Days Victory Dinner
We are actively planning a special Victory Dinner to coincide with WWII Days. This immersive evening will honor the homefront era and serve as a meaningful fundraiser supporting the Museum’s educational programs and operations. - Parade of Pronghorns
This large-scale community art and fundraising project is moving forward, and there will be opportunities to get involved behind the scenes. From planning and coordination to artist and sponsor support, there’s a role for many interests and skill sets.
Volunteer & Committee Opportunities
Not ready for board service but still want to help? We will also be sharing volunteer and committee opportunities connected to both the Victory Dinner and the Parade of Pronghorns. Committees are a great way to contribute time and talent without a long-term commitment, while still playing a key role in bringing these projects to life.
We’d Love to See You There
Whether you’re a longtime supporter, a new Museum member, or someone who simply loves local history and community projects, you are welcome to attend. Monthly meetings are a great way to stay informed, ask questions, and see firsthand how the Rockpile Museum Association operates.

We look forward to connecting and continuing this important work together.
