About the Artist
Brooke Mack has called Campbell County home since childhood and has been seriously pursuing her artistic career for the past seven years. Working primarily with acrylic on large-scale canvases, Brooke is best known for her wildlife paintings, though her work also includes florals and western landscapes.
Her artistic style blends bright color palettes with natural western tones, ranging from detailed realism to a looser contemporary approach. Brooke has completed numerous large-scale commissions for local businesses, residential homes throughout Wyoming and Colorado, and even an out-of-state restaurant. Her work has also been recognized in several regional art competitions, including receiving Best in Show at the 2020 AVA Art Matters Gala.
About the Pronghorn
Vibrant Horizons reflects two defining elements of Campbell County: energy and the prairie landscape. One side of the sculpture highlights Wyoming’s energy industry through imagery of coal mining equipment, oil field machinery, and a passing coal train set against the backdrop of a Wyoming sunset.
The opposite side celebrates the prairie itself, featuring Pumpkin Buttes, cone-shaped hills, cattle, bison, a traditional windmill water pump, and Wyoming’s expansive open skies. Brooke tied the design together with realistic fur details throughout the pronghorn, along with sagebrush elements climbing the legs of the sculpture.
Rich western colors, layered landscapes, and iconic Wyoming imagery come together to create a piece that honors both the working industries and natural beauty of the region.
