History Beyond the Museum

World War II is not just a chapter in a history book. Its story lives on through veterans, family memories, photographs, letters, artifacts, and materials preserved in museums and archives, including the collections of the Rockpile Museum.

In 2027, the Rockpile Museum Association invites travelers to experience that history where it happened.

This guided journey will travel from London to Berlin, visiting many of the places that shaped the course of the war in Europe and connecting the history preserved at home with the landscapes, cities, battlefields, and memorials where those stories unfolded.

  • Arromanches
  • Additional D-Day and Normandy sites
