The Rockpile Museum Association is a 501(c)3 non-profit that was formed over 30 years ago to provide additional support to the Rockpile Museum. The RMA fundraises for special projects that assist the Rockpile Museum in their mission of preserving the history of the Powder River Basin, such as building a traveling Homestead Shack and supplying the museum with five new exhibit cases. The RMA also provides yearly summer interns to the museum to help relieve some of the workload from the incredible staff while also providing an opportunity for college and graduate students. And that barely scratches the surface of the RMA and its relationship with the Rockpile Museum.
