April is full of fun events put on by the RMA and the Rockpile Museum. First on the list is the Ultimate Indoor Garage Sale this coming Saturday, April 6, from 9 am – 3 pm. There are over 75 vendors representing 4 states! Handmade goods, salsa, artisan wares, antiques, and some good ol’ garage sale treasures. Plan on stopping out to the Cam-Plex Central Pavilion and coming home with a few new finds.
The following week, join us at the Rockpile Museum for the presentation of The Murder of Allie Means on April 11th at 7 pm. This will be a great event to learn some of the early town history of Gillette.
Paul Horsted will be at the Rockpile Museum on April 18th at 7 pm to talk about the 4th Edition of his book “Exploring with Custer.” The classic book about a turning point in Black Hills history has been completely updated in a revised 4th edition that contains new information, perspectives and discoveries about the first military expedition in what was then an unmapped area of the west mostly unknown to non-Native Americans. The museum gift shop has copies of Paul’s latest edition of “Exploring with Custer” – stop down to get yours before the event!
